The Story...
Chandal and Justin are an up and coming New York couple on the Broadway theater scene. Just as they are prepared to move to L.A. and take the next step in their career, Chandal suffers a nervous breakdown and finds out she is pregnant. As a result, Justin moves them into a Manhattan brownstone apartment and introduces her to the landlords: two harmless old sisters that live upstairs.
Before too long, the old women work their way into the couple’s lives, and Chandal starts seeing things: a mysterious man, a young girl, the image of a goat. Justin isn't acting like himself, starts skipping work to spend more and more time in the basement. Friends become distant and start either disappearing or dying, and Chandal starts to have visions of losing her baby.
Chandal investigates and begins to suspect that the women upstairs are witches, members of the ancient cult of Ahriman who have already ensnared her husband, and want her child next.
